Description:

This dandelion is reaching for the sun, framed by its fellow blossoms. The dandelion's botanical name, Taraxacum officinale, refers to the Latin words for "disorder" and "remedy." The common name, "dandelion," comes from the French words for "tooth of the lion." Dandelions are associated with happiness, faithfulness, and courage.
